Environmental Drawing & Sculpture: Working with the Land – Elzbieta Sikorska

Elzbieta Sikorska

Three-day workshop limited to 12 participants
September 12 - 14, 2008
Tuition: $450
Application Form

Elzbieta will lead participants in finding inspiration in woodlands and fields through observation, drawing and design. Students will use these tools as a basis for site-specific pieces. An emphasis on biodegradable and natural materials will be discussed and incorporated, as well as the idea of the permanence of environmental sculpture. Elzbieta’s astute perception of positive and negative areas is a lesson in its own right, and her avid and enduring appreciation of the natural world create a nurturing and supportive environment for exploring such a vital and intuitive way of working.
