Alla Prima Painting – David Brewster

Aerometer

Three-day workshop
limited to 12 participants
July 18 - 20, 2008
Tuition: $450
Application Form

This adept painter guides participants in the task of painting ‘alla prima’—completing a composition on site at one pass. David’s approach demonstrates the dynamic role the weather and the cloudscapes play in these compositions, observations he imparts with great enthusiasm. His entire group from 2004 so appreciated his energy and attentiveness that they asked Great River Arts to reconvene the group the following year. A materials list will be provided in advance of the class.
