Monoprinting Collaborative : Sarah Amos
October 3-5, 2008 Sarah Amos has been working with artists consistently for ten years, and is notable for her ability to work collaboratively to realize an artist’s vision. The collaboration is an opportunity to bring that vision to another level, and she is adept at guiding one’s approach to a different and perhaps surprising place. In this class, she works with a small, focused group to prepare plates, understand the layering of plates to create new effects, and learn inking and ghosting techniques. After the three-day class, participants are welcome to arrange additional days in the studio to continue printing.
